Delivery Driver – 26 ft Box Truck (1099 Contractor)
Full-Time | 2-Man Team | Mattress & Appliance Delivery
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver and Helper to operate a 26ft box truck and complete residential deliveries of mattresses, household appliances, and bedroom furniture. This position involves interacting in customers homes, so professionalism, respect, and strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck safely and efficiently.
- Deliver mattresses, appliances, and other household items to customers’ homes.
- Assemble basic bed frames and set up delivered items as needed.
- Work as part of a 2-man delivery team to load, unload, and install products.
- Communicate with customers and maintain a professional and courteous attitude.
- Complete deliveries within assigned time-window schedules.
- Follow company delivery procedures and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience driving a 26ft box truck (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of mattress and appliance delivery and bed frame assembly.
- Ability to lift heavy items (often 75–150 lbs with a partner).
- Must present valid work authorization in the United States.
- Must be able to work 8–10 hour days consistently.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly recommended.
- Smartphone required for delivery apps, routing, and communication.
- Must be willing to work as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Clean driving record

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in home delivery or moving services.
- Experience with residential appliance installation (basic setup).
Work Schedule
- Full-time, typically 8–10 hours per day.
- Must be comfortable working until all deliveries are completed.
Compensation
- 1099 contractor pay - Starting pay $200 daily tips
Pay: $180.00 - $200.00 per day
