What are the responsibilities and job description for the DOT Tank Technician position at Seneca Tank?
Summary: Reporting to the Dealership Manager, the incumbent performs DOT testing, inspections, and general mechanical service on tanker trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, tanker unloading systems, and truck hydraulic systems to ensure equipment operates safely and meets DOT compliance standards.
The Technician assists customers by pulling and distributing stocked parts to fulfill customer orders or install on customer equipment, performs inventory maintenance and reconciliation, and performs parts receiving and inventory control duties while supporting overall dealership service operations.

Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision

At least 3 years of experience
