Position Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction or engineering projects in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project activities to ensure the achievement of client and company goals. Your expertise will oversee project scope, manage vendor relationships, handle bid processes, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will develop and monitor project budgets, oversee contractor efforts, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Regular communication with clients and internal teams will be essential to provide progress updates, resolve issues, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in construction or engineering industries
- Proven expertise in managing large projects and client programs
- PMP or PMI certification required; LEED or General Contracting licenses a plus
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) and construction management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to clients, stakeholders, and teams
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, government regulations, and contract documents
- Vendor management experience and ability to develop successful stakeholder relationships
