Position Overview

Our Fortune 500 client located in Bronx, NY is seeking a Junior Business Systems Analyst to support technology initiatives within a large construction organization. This role will work closely with business and technical teams to help plan, design, develop, and deploy user-facing solutions across data analytics, visualization, artificial intelligence, and enterprise application platforms.

The successful candidate will assist with requirements gathering, solution design, data analysis, governance, legacy data conversion, and end-user support. This is a strong opportunity for an early-career professional who is interested in business analysis, enterprise systems, data platforms, and technology project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Work with users and stakeholders to assess needs and translate them into practical technology solutions.
• Support the planning, design, development, and deployment of user interfaces, dashboards, visualizations, and AI-enabled tools.
• Assist with solutions involving Microsoft Power BI, IBM Maximo, Oracle E-Business Suite, and related enterprise platforms.
• Analyze current technology environments and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, roadmaps, and governance requirements.
• Help create solution prototypes, process flows, requirements documents, and implementation plans.
• Participate in technology evaluations and support solution selection activities.
• Assist with data analytics, data governance, database-related initiatives, and conversion of legacy information.
• Support DevOps activities, release coordination, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, developers, vendors, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project tasks, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Provide clear status updates and communicate technical information to both business and technical audiences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analytics, application support, or a related technology role.
• Ability to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with project management, product management, or software delivery processes.
• Basic understanding of databases, data analytics, reporting, and enterprise applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at the Bronx location.
