Shift: 3rd shift: 8pm-6am

Overview: As an Information Security/Privacy Analyst I, you will be responsible for analyzing and responding to security events and incidents across diverse data sources, including SIEM tools, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions. This role is perfect for recent graduates or professionals with up to three years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), eager to grow their skills in cybersecurity and privacy.
Required Skills
1-3 years of experience in a security operations environment or recent college graduate with industry certifications
Proficiency with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, or UNIX
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical details
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk or similar platforms
Ability to analyze logs from IDS, IPS, firewall, and endpoint solutions
Nice To Have Skills
Knowledge of IDS log analysis and packet capture tools
Familiarity with common network protocols like FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, and DAP
Industry certifications such as CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN
Preferred Education And Experience
Relevant certifications and training in cybersecurity best practices
Background in analyzing network traffic and logs to identify security threats
Experience working in a fast-paced SOC environment is a plus
Other Requirements
Willingness to work the third shift (8 pm – 6 am)
