Position Description

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and facility systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and system checks, documenting performance and issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as motors, transformers, MCC panels, dock equipment, lighting, and control systems.
- Rebuild pumps, valves, electrical components, and pneumatic devices as needed.
- Support building system upgrades, leak repairs, and minor renovations.
- Manage parts inventory, order supplies, and document work in CMMS and other systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients about work progress and safety protocols.
- May oversee maintenance projects and coordinate with subcontractors.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and site policies.
- High School diploma or equivalent; trade school and relevant certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license, forklift, and aerial lift licenses are required.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, safety).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, operate CMMS software, and manage work orders.
- Excellent communication skills and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
