Position Title: Collector II
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Position Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collector II for an onsite contract role in Dallas, TX. This role requires strong proficiency with EPIC systems, expert knowledge of EOB processes, and experience working with payer portals like BCBS and UHC. The ideal candidate will have a healthcare background, specifically in hospital or healthcare provider billing, and possess excellent critical thinking and judgment skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to revenue cycle management in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and follow up on accounts using EPIC system and payer portals (BCBS, UHC, etc.)
• Analyze and resolve healthcare reimbursement issues by applying strong EOB knowledge
• Collaborate with hospitals, healthcare providers, and insurance organizations to collect payments
• Prioritize and manage high-volume collections with minimal supervision
• Maintain accurate documentation of account status and collection efforts
• Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and policies
• Use critical thinking to resolve complex billing issues efficiently
  Top Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare collections and billing experience
• Strong EPIC system expertise
• Extensive knowledge of EOB processes and payer portals (BCBS, UHC, Medicare)
• Background working within hospital or healthcare insurance organizations
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and judgment skills
