What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Seneca Manufacturing Co?
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.
Responsibilities:
- require the operator to run the equipment proficient.
- Must know all the steps of reporting and maintenance of the equipment.
- will perform proper setup of the machine(s) for runs.
- Performs all pertinent quality checks, controls and reporting on equipment(s)
- Learns reasonable maintenance on the equipment and minor repairs on a daily basis.
- Oversee to the safety of his/her team
- Complete reports, logs and notifies quality issues, defects and other problems directly to the Factory
Supervisor - Report directly to the factory supervisor.
- Assigned other duties to be performed at any time.
Pay rate will very on experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one year factory related experience.
Physical Demands
- Light to moderate physical effort required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs
- Regularly required to stand, reach and move about the facility.
Work Environment
- Exposed to any number of elements but none present to extent of being disagreeable.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
