What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Fitzpatrick & Weller, Inc?
Fitzpatrick & Weller is a family owned company started in 1895 that specializes in the manufacturing of hardwood lumber and wood components. We are currently seeking Machine operators to join or team in the Dimension Plant. Previous Experience is helpful, but not necessary. Must have a strong work ethic.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform operations necessary to manufacture wood components.
- Within a team environment, efficiently and safely operate machines and perform other functions to maximize machine utilization, quality and team harmony.
- Accurately observe, measure and record product / process necessary to insure product quality.
- Provide active input to continuous process improvement.
- Provide accurate documentation of production operations.
- Receive and move material to efficiently maintain production.
- Effectively communicate job related information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
