Assigned mechanical job duties to maintain and repair food processing equipment. Completes repairs during the processing season to meet production goals. Overhaul and install plant equipment during non-production periods to be ready for the next scheduled production run.

- Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations.
- Repair & trouble shooting of electrical wiring, PLC’s, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.
- Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget.
- Ensure that General Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase. A journeyman or master license is preferred but not required.
- Good electrical mechanical repair & trouble shooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness & ability to work & function in a team environment.
- Attention to detail & accuracy.
