What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dairy Clerk (Part Time) position at SENDIK'S FINE FOODS. INC.?
We’re looking for a dependable, customer-focused Dairy Clerk to help keep our department fully stocked, clean, and organized. This role is active and hands-on, with a strong focus on product stocking, rotation, and maintaining attractive displays.
What You’ll Do:
- Stock, sort, rotate, and face dairy products
- Keep cases and displays full, clean, and organized
- Remove outdated/damaged product and follow proper handling procedures
- Maintain backroom organization (cardboard, pallets, spills, overstock)
- Assist customers with product location and questions
- Answer department phone calls and help with product resets
- Follow all store and department policies
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 2,000 lbs.
- Comfortable with frequent walking, bending, reaching, and ladder use
- Ability to use basic equipment (box cutter, pallet jack, cleaning tools, compactor)
- Good communication, listening, and decision-making skills
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs
