Hybrid/Onsite Onsite at the Service Center

Schedule

  • Full Time (40 hours/week)
  • Monday through Friday as follows:
    • Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
    • Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a Tool Repair Technician to join our Service Center Team in Hickory, NC. 

This hands-on role is responsible for repairing and reconditioning SENCO pneumatic tools, assembling new tools, and supporting inventory management. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with pneumatic tool repair, and the ability to read schematics and interpret blueprints.

This position offers the potential for career growth into customer site tool repair, account support, and eventually Technical Service Specialist roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and recondition SENCO pneumatic tools and related equipment.
  • Assemble new tools and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Support occasional customer site visits and assist sales representatives with tool-related needs.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma/GED is preferred, ideally within mechanical skilled trade.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic tools.
  • Experience in tool repair, assembly, or maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read schematics and interpret blueprints.
  • Inventory management experience is a plus.
  • Technical school graduates or candidates with hands-on mechanical experience encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to Hickory Service Center.
  • Willingness to work onsite for at least the first 6–8 months.
