Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4pm 40 hrs full time (1 officer)
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across our facilities by implementing comprehensive security protocols. Your energetic approach will help deter threats, manage conflicts effectively, and ensure the safety of all personnel, visitors, and assets. Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety, identify hazards, and enforce security policies
- Respond swiftly and professionally to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid
- Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incident reports, and security logs for accountability and review
Experience
- Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement roles
- Background in conflict management and loss prevention strategi
- Military or security service experience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control procedures, and emergency response planning
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and professional during long shifts in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00 per hour
