Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm 40 hours full time (1 officer)
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment, prevent loss, and uphold the safety standards of our organization. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors using CCTV systems and manual checks.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures while managing conflicts or disturbances with professionalism and tact.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious activity immediately.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management techniques, and loss prevention strategies.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond swiftly when required.
