Sr. Mortgage Closer/Post-Closer

About The Role

Semper Home Loans, a Rhode Island-based mortgage lender, is seeking a Sr. Residential Mortgage Closer/Post-Closer to join our Closing Department. This individual will play a critical role in the final stages of the residential mortgage process and must have a strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all corporate file standards are met.
• Confirm all insurance documentation, product requirements, disclosures, and guidelines are complete and accurate within the loan file.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with Processing and Secondary departments.
• Oversee transfer of closed loan files to investors.
• Gather, compile, organize, ship, and track investor-requested loan documents.
• Prepare, send, and monitor the status of FHA case binders.
• Assist with post-closing responsibilities, as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

This role is pivotal to the success of the post-closing process and ensures timely and accurate delivery of loans for purchase.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of mortgage closing or post-closing experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Positive attitude, team player, and self-starter.
