Description:
Semper Fi is currently looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager, to oversee our fleet of service and sales trucks. You will assist in the administration and coordination of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles. Maintain accurate records of vehicles. Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and files paperwork in support of this compliance as needed. This position is a high paced challenging position. Responsibilities:
Vehicles:
· Obtain necessary Semper Fi Executive Approvals to purchase new vehicles
· Prepare lease documents for signature
· Place new vehicle orders (with an independent dealership, or factory order)
· Schedules repairs or preventative maintenance
· Arrange for selling/retirement of vehicles (work with Director of finance for planning then sell.)
· Work with Semper Fi drivers on a daily basis to field questions, obtain required vehicle documentation, assist with accident reporting, etc.
· Enter, modify and manage required driver information into fleet management system
· Fuel card management (order fuel cards, issue pin numbers)
Insurance
· Report inventory to carrier annually for policy renewal
· Semper Fi Accounts Payable
Licensing
· Title transfer, and standard registrations
· Coordinate with registration requirements with Semper Fi drivers
Tooling Management
· Collect and manage inventory sheets (biannually)
· Coordinate the ordering of tooling for new trucks or replacement (with install, service and warehouse Managers)
· Understand DOT and local motorized vehicle laws and statues
· DOT rules related to safety (HOS, Secure load, maintenance, etc.)
Insurance:
· Manage auto ID cards (request new cards, updates, terminate when vehicle is sold) with ADOT.
· Assist with Renewals
· File accident claims with CDS Insurance
Requirements:
· Clean driving record going back last 36 months
· Associate’s degree in business or related field and or equivalent work experience
· 3 years recent work experience in similar role
· IRP knowledge
· IFTA knowledge
· Prior knowledge of DMV policies and procedures is preferred
· MUST be proficient in Microsoft word, excel, outlook
· Budget forecasting experience
· Vehicle management
· Commercial vehicle fleet experience
