Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wabasha, MN, for a Community Development Director. The Community Development Director supervises and leads activities involved in the administration of HRA rehabilitation and community/housing development programs as delegated by the Chief Executive Officer in compliance with procedures established for implementation of such projects. Oversee the writing, administration and execution of all grants. Manages HRA grants/programs, as well as capital funds, while directing the activities of consultants, project managers and other staff at all levels as they relate to the grants program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Urban Studies or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of all agency Community Development program guidelines and regulations.
- Possesses strong project management skills and is proactive in the development and communication of project plans.
- Able to write grants, develop and present efficiently, and accurately and timely execute Community Development project plans with staff, funders and local governments.
- Sensitive and equitable handling of complaints and conflicts.
- Ability to communicate clearly, technical concepts, orally and in writing to management team and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines and agency standards.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to staff.
Salary : $77,387 - $82,100
