What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier for Seminole Coconut Creek Smoke Shop position at Seminole Tribe of Florida?
We're looking for a dependable Cashier with great customer service! This position is based at the Seminole Coconut Creek Smoke Shop located at 5600 NW 40th St, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 . We sell primarily cigarettes amongst other products so tobacco sales knowledge is a plus!
The store hours are 7am to 10pm Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday 7am to 11pm. Sunday 8am to 9pm. We're open everyday year-round and we need someone with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating weekdays.
Position Summary
The incumbent in this position is responsible for operating the cash register and receiving and disbursing money at the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc.’s Smoke Shops. The incumbent collects payments from customers, provides change, and receipts for payments received.
Qualifications / Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. A minimum of six (6) months experience working as a cashier or related work experience is required. Any equivalent combination of relevant training and experience will be considered. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work overtime hours in support of store operations. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
