Therefore, as a condition of employment, the incumbent is expected to be available by cell phone and is required to provide their current cell phone number to the Office of Human Resources and to their immediate supervisor.

Essential Functions
- Collaborates with department leadership, program managers, and faculty to develop and/or implement special projects, grants, and programs within Career and Technical Education.
- Manages projects that support initiatives that are designed to meet projected enrollment goals and other outcome targets.
- Conducts labor research, needs assessments, completes reports, and follow-up in support of the Schools’ programs associated with Career and Technical Education.
- Assists in the coordination of program review, strategic planning reports, and accreditation status documents for Career and Technical Education programs.
- Creates requisitions and approves purchase order payments for Perkins-funded travel, equipment, and supplies.
- Supervises direct reports, including coaching, mentoring, performance evaluation. Enters full-time leave and part-time payroll for Perkins-funded staff.
- Coordinates with Finance and Budgeting and Financial Aid Offices for the awarding of College certificate fee waivers, and Associate degree in Science completion funds.
- Coordinates with Finance and Budgeting and Legal Affairs office to monitor and develop external contracts which meet administrative and legislative guidelines.
- Collaborates with appropriate staff to develop special projects and initiatives to improve student retention and completion.
- Collaborates with Institutional Effectiveness and Research in the development of models for the collection of data for funded industry certifications, divisional reports, informed decision making, and outcomes assessments.
- Collaborating with the college wide Admissions and Marketing offices, assists with development and implementation of student recruitment and other marketing efforts.
- Manages all contracts and clinical affiliation agreements associated with Career and Technical Education programs.
- Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Three years of experience working at a postsecondary institution, specifically in workforce programs.
- Three years of experience working with state and/or federal grants
- One year of project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with students, faculty, staff, administration, and community members.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of community/state college processes.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to become proficient in Teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor.
