The role is responsible for order operations, file coordination, vendor communication, and basic analysis that supports informed decision-making and issue resolution.
Job Essentials
- Learn and use internal systems to create, process, and implement purchase orders across multiple items and categories.
- Track shipment issues weekly and daily as needed and recommend solutions to support timely execution.
- Support the initiation, development, and ongoing maintenance of buy plans.
- Coordinate item setup across multiple styles and locations with flexibility and attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships with the vendor community to resolve issues and develop action plans in partnership with the Planning Manager and internal teams.
- Manage vendor inquiries through completion and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Logistics, Product Development, E-commerce, and Accounts Payable, to support efficient purchasing operations.
- 2–3 years of experience in a retail or merchandising capacity, or related experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including VLOOKUP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and work within internal data entry and merchandising systems.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and adapt to changing daily priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
