Semcac Transportation is looking for an energetic Operations Manager to lead daily transportation operations, support staff development, and help improve mobility across southeastern Minnesota.
As part of our leadership team, you'll oversee routes, staff performance, budgets, and compliance, ensuring every ride is safe, efficient, and customer-focused. You'll also help modernize our systems through technology, innovation, and teamwork.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor transportation staff.
- Manage daily operations, routes, and service quality.
- Oversee budgets, billing, and compliance.
- Support technology upgrades and process improvements.
- Represent Semcac at community and regional meetings.
What You Bring:
- 3–5 years in transportation, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of DOT, FTA, and MnDOT standards.
- Preferred: CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
EDUCATION: The position requires an Associate degree (two-year) in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates should have three to five years of related experience in transportation operations, logistics, or public transit management, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the essential duties of the role.
Pay: $ $33.05 per hour
