Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal and general supervision by the Coordinator, Special Education/Student Supports, the Adult Transition Program teacher provides adult students (ages 18-22) receiving special education services with instruction, guidance, training, coaching, and opportunities to gain community access, independent living skills, college awareness, and employment opportunities to facilitate the successful transition to adult life after public school; recruits potential employers in the community; oversees the WorkAbility grant at the high school and post-secondary level; and completes all legal requirements pertaining to special education services.

Interested Applicants: -EdJoin Application -Résumé or Summary of Experience -Copy of Appropriate Credential -Three (3) Letters of Recommendation -Transcripts -Copy of CBEST Full year-for-year credit given, up to 18 years. Full-time position includes District paid health, dental, and vision insurance up to a $16,075 district contribution.
• Valid CA Educational Specialist Instruction, Mild/Moderate, or Moderate/Severe teaching credential, or the equivalent authorizing instruction in an RSP or SDC setting, with Autism authorization, required. • Three (3) years of successful teaching experience, teaching students who receive Special Education services, required; five (5) years preferred.
