Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Non-Commercial Driver’s License Driver and Appliance Installer to join our dynamic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver and install appliances/ equipment at customer locations. Your expertise in appliance installation, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge will ensure seamless installation and exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving with hands-on technical work, providing vital support to our clients while maintaining safety and efficiency on every job.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to residential or commercial sites
- Install, assemble furniture, install appliances such as refrigerators, microwave and other mechanical systems following schematics and technical instructions
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical issues during installatio
- Conduct field service tasks including equipment repair, system testing, and troubleshooting to resolve customer issues efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and service reports for each job
Qualifications
- Valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record; experience with delivery driving preferred
- 1 year of experience in appliance repair or service technician roles involving refrigeration or electrical systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with appliance assembly, equipment repair, and electrical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude in all interactions
- Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in various environments including confined spaces or elevated areas
- Prior experience working with box trucks or similar delivery vehicles is highly desirable
