Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition and safety compliance.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols during transportation and delivery processes.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment or manual effort to handle bulky or heavy items.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and address any delivery issues promptly.Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating various trucks such as flatbed or dump trucks.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery operations, or related roles with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Mechanical knowledge of truck systems to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required.
- Ability to load & unload cargo safely using appropriate techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with different truck types including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers is highly desirable.
