Position Summary

The Heavy Equipment Lube Technician performs preventative maintenance on heavy construction and mining equipment. Duties include driving to local jobsites and company-owned locations to complete scheduled maintenance tasks. Candidates with prior lube technician or heavy equipment maintenance experience are preferred, though training may be provided to qualified applicants.

Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate company service trucks, pull trailers, and perform basic operation of miscellaneous equipment as needed.
• Review maintenance reports and schedules to prioritize, plan, and implement preventative maintenance tasks.
• Travel to various locations throughout the assigned work area to perform services.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including, but not limited to:
• Walk-around and visual inspections
• Checking, changing, and sampling fluids
• Checking and changing filters
• Checking and adjusting tire air pressure
• Measuring and documenting component wear and part condition
• Making minor repairs
• Lubricating and greasing equipment
• Washing and cleaning equipment
• Accurately log all activities and complete both paper and computerized reports through applicable fleet maintenance applications.
• Monitor and help maintain inventories of supplies and parts related to preventative maintenance.
• Take direction from supervisors and work cooperatively with peers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and vehicle, including proper care and protection of tools.
• Follow all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks and general labor as assigned.

Position Qualifications

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including goggles, face shields, and gloves.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background. CDL or additional certifications may be required for certain assignments.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, solve problems, and complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift or pull up to 50 pounds and work in awkward positions, around equipment, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to use hand tools and trade-type tools.
• General mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

No direct reports. May be assigned assistants or work with other technicians as needed.

Position Summary

The Aggregate Dispatcher / Pusher Operator serves as the central link between material producers, project managers, and drivers. This role manages the daily flow of bulk materials including scoria, gravel, and other aggregates within the Bakken. The position combines heavy-haul logistics coordination with hands-on field direction to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time material delivery.

Core Responsibilities

Fleet Routing & Scheduling

• Coordinate truck assignments to meet strict construction and plant schedules.
• Minimize deadhead (empty) miles to maximize haul efficiency and reduce fuel costs.
• Adjust routes in real time based on traffic, weather, and job site priorities.

On-Site Field Coordination (Pusher Duties)

• Manage the physical flow of trucks at active job sites and quarries.
• Direct drivers on where to dump, spot, or load materials.
• Prevent bottlenecks and keep operations moving safely and continuously.

Load Tracking & Dispatch

• Track load progress in real time working with local pits and loader operators.
• Monitor weather forecasts and reroute drivers to avoid hazards or delays.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers via phone, radio, or mobile apps.

Scale Operations & Ticketing

• Operate truck scales and loaders to load and weigh outgoing trucks.
• Reconcile tickets daily for billing and vendor payout accuracy.

Compliance & Safety Enforcement

• Ensure driver compliance with DOT hours-of-service (HOS) regulations.
• Enforce site-specific safety rules including proper PPE requirements.
• Document and report safety incidents or violations promptly.

Problem Solving

• Respond quickly to on-route emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, or rejected materials.
• Communicate effectively with project managers to resolve delivery conflicts.
