Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assess their automotive needs, and recommend suitable products or services.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, vehicle systems, and parts to assist customers effectively.
- Manage inventory control and automotive parts management to ensure product availability and accurate stock levels.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with professionalism.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up to encourage repeat business.
- Negotiate sales deals confidently, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting sales targets.
- Maintain organized product displays, stock shelves efficiently, and ensure the cleanliness of the sales area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive dealership sales or retail automotive parts sales is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with outstanding communication and phone etiquette.
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and automotive parts management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and organizational tasks.
- Ability to handle POS transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties when needed.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with strong organizational skills and retail math aptitude.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive parts/accessories is essential.
