What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist, Full-Time, First Shift position at Self Regional?
Performs evaluation and treatment of patients in discipline specific therapy areas; Maintains professional licensure and registration in good standing with the appropriate South Carolina Licensure Board (Physical Therapy) and accrediting agency; Participates in continuing education fulfilling requirement to maintain licensure and competency and independent study to progress knowledge base; Works closely with other departments to provide interdisciplinary and age appropriate patient care; Documents all patient interventions accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory requirements; Provides education and training for other staff members, outside departments and community; Supervises assistants and rehab technicians; Completes CPR certification, Educode, annual health screen according to hospital policy; Performs other duties as assigned by Manager or Director.
