What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse, Emergency Care Center, Full time, Mid Shift position at Self Regional?
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH, ECC, and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Department Director, Manager, ECC Supervisor, or Lead/Charge Nurse.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. Complete initial competencies as defined (CPI, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIMS 100,200,700), NIH Stroke certification all within 12 months of hire). Complete arrythmia course within 30 days of hire.
