Telecommunications engineering company is looking for a Zoning & Permitting Specialist.
Candidate must have 5 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
Responsible for the preparation and submittal of various entitlement applications, permits and agreements to allow installation of communications facilities on behalf of SSC clients.
Requires knowledge of municipal processes, codes and ordinances, as well as frequent interface with local governments and jurisdictions.
Requires presentation of zoning applications before zoning and other regulatory boards.
Must be able to write coherent routine reports and effective business letters including justifications for zoning applications.
Ability to review and interpret municipal zoning codes and state regulations pertaining to wireless facilities, as well as substantial knowledge of Eligible Facilities Requests/Section 6409
Read and interpret documents such as title reports, leases, easements, plat maps, topography maps, zoning codes and zoning filing requirements.
Competently complete complex zoning applications.
Submit zoning filings and represent client throughout the permitting process, including public hearing presentations before governmental bodies, as required.
Fulfill various client documentation and deliverable requirements.
Participation in project calls with client representatives.
