Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the shipment of cargo via various transportation modes, including trucking, LTL, and rail.
- Move all loads via our proprietary TMS (transportation management system).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and clients to optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
Skills
- Proven experience in supply chain management, transportation management, or logistics sales.
- Must have an existing book of business with at least $10,000 in margin per month.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with a customer-focused approach in account management.
- Proficiency in CRM software, load posting boards, and transportation management systems (TMS).
