We are seeking a detail-oriented Sample Coordinator to support sample management activities in a GLP-regulated laboratory environment. This role involves receiving, documenting, processing, and maintaining the integrity of biological samples while ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior laboratory sample processing experience and exposure to LIMS systems. Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, log, open, and document incoming sample shipmentsProcess biological samples in accordance with SOPs and study protocolsMaintain accurate shipment, receipt, and sample condition documentationEnsure sample integrity, chain of custody, and compliance with GLP requirementsWork safely with biological matrices (plasma, urine, blood, CSF, etc.) in a BSL-2 laboratoryNotify management and scientists of any abnormal sample receipt conditionsPerform self and peer review of data for accuracy and complianceUtilize LIMS systems (Watson LIMS, StarLIMS, or similar) for sample trackingSupport QA audits and address audit findings as requiredCollaborate with scientists, project managers, and cross-functional teams Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree (preferably in Life Sciences) OR equivalent relevant experience1–2 years of sample processing experience in a GLP-regulated environment (preferred)Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)Strong documentation skills following ALCOA principlesKnowledge of applicable regulatory requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks Nice to HaveExperience in clinical, toxicology, pharmaceutical, or CRO labsPrior experience supporting QA auditsExposure to electronic laboratory notebooksCompany DescriptionSelect Source International (SSI) is a distinguished staffing company with nearly 25 years of experience, renowned for delivering top-tier workforce solutions encompassing staffing, recruiting, and managed services.
