Position Overview
We are seeking an E&C Engineer to support two single-cycle combustion turbine projects within the territory. This is a field-based engineering role focused on supporting construction execution, EPC RFI coordination, engineering issue resolution, and commissioning/start-up activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting EPC construction projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, construction, and vendor teams in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a field engineer supporting EPC RFI submittal and response processes
- Support resolution of open engineering items during construction activities
- Assist with commissioning and start-up support for combustion turbine projects
- Provide technical oversight of EPC field activities and construction execution
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, construction managers, engineers, vendors, and contractors
- Support technical issue resolution and field troubleshooting efforts
- Ensure engineering and construction activities align with project schedules and quality expectations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- Experience supporting EPC construction projects
- Familiarity with RFI processes and document control systems
- Experience working in onsite construction or field environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic project environment
