Manufacturing Technician II/Assembler

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II / Electro-mechanical Assembler

Location: 600 Technology Drive, Newark DE 19702

Duration: 12 months

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) (Regular overtime expected (approximately 10 hours/week), Mandatory Saturday shift at least once per month

**Pay Rate: $21.50 - $30/hr on w2**

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Test, calibrate and repairs production machines and related subassemblies to written and or oral specifications in a timely fashion.

·       Responsible for meeting or exceeding quality and efficiency standards.

·       Ensures quality and operation of work.

·       Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines.

·       Timely and accurate testing and calibration of all electronic subassemblies and must clearly document results.

·       Ensure that design, implementation, test and maintenance methods and or processes are developed as well as executed in a manner, which supports all Hologic's Quality Standards.

·       Perform other duties as required.

Hiring Manager Preferences:

·       Strong emphasis on reliability, attendance, and flexibility.

·       Must be willing to work daily overtime (up to 1 hour per day) and Saturday shifts (minimum once per month).

·       Experience in Industrial Equipment or Electronics Manufacturing environments is preferred; Medical Device experience is a plus.

Role is approximately:

·       80% testing/calibration

·       10% troubleshooting & repair

·       10% documentation

·       Experience working in GMP/FDA-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

·       Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

·       Candidates with the greatest schedule flexibility and availability for overtime will be prioritized.
