Quality Assurance Tech Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer supports quality system processes to help ensure high product quality throughout the product lifecycle. This role works closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve quality, support production, and maintain compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality.
• Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop production acceptance criteria.
• Analyze production quality data to identify trends and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Assist in creating and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Review and help disposition nonconforming materials.
• Support the creation and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Review manufacturing process and part deviations.
• Create quality alerts when inspection or acceptance requirements need to be updated.
• Support customer and regulatory audits.
• Respond to quality-related questions during tenders and other sales activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  
  

Required Skills

• Experience with quality and manufacturing methodologies such as QFD, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar.
• Understanding of statistical analysis methods and quality tools.
• Experience working with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, including drawings, schematics, diagrams, and flowcharts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Comfortable using Windows operating systems and PC-based applications, including local and network file systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks on time.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
