Select Savvy is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Behavior Specialist (BCBA or BCBA-eligible) for a school-based opportunity in Maryland. This role is essential in supporting students with behavioral challenges by implementing evidence-based strategies that promote positive behavior, social-emotional growth, and access to learning.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- BCBA certification or completion of BCBA coursework with supervision toward certification
- Experience in behavior analysis, preferably in a school-based setting
- Experience working with students with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Support and guide staff in implementing behavior interventions and positive behavior supports
- Work directly with students to promote positive behavioral outcomes
- Train and support staff on behavior plans, strategies, and best practices
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting of student progress
- Provide crisis intervention support and guide de-escalation strategies
- Supervise and provide feedback to RBTs and staff pursuing certification
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families
- Ensure compliance with applicable educational and behavioral regulations
