What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host / Hostess at a Fine Dining Restaurant position at SELECT Restaurant?
SELECT Is looking for a friendly, dynamic host/foodrunner for our front of house! We are looking for day time or evenings, and either part-time or full-time.
Your Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests that walk in the front door in a timely fashion.
- Seating guests accurately in each server’s section, and communicating needed details to the server.(Such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
- Holding the door open and thanking guests for coming in as they are leaving.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly dining/bar area.
- Ensuring parties are seated where they’re assigned, and able to communicate with a manager to adjust as needed.
- Running food to the correct tables and seat numbers.
- Rolling silverware or filling ice when food running.
- Showing up with a good attitude, and a clean work uniform.
This is a great job to begin teaching you how to talk to lots of people, and how to pay attention to detail. Shifts are usually 8:45-4:30pm, and 4pm-10:30pm.
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
