A global, industry‑leading consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a Sr. Cost Analyst to play a key role in supporting plant‑level financial performance and driving efficiency across operations. In this role, you will partner closely with production, engineering, business development, and finance teams to strengthen cost visibility, enhance decision‑making, and support ongoing strategic initiatives. What You Will Do
- Lead and support loss‑elimination initiatives throughout the plant, including developing tools and dashboards to identify, quantify, and monitor inefficiencies in real time.
- Serve as a key partner to Operations and Finance by helping guide the plant's cost‑management, productivity, and loss‑analysis agenda.
- Hold process owners accountable for performance by reviewing financial impacts, highlighting risks or opportunities, and ensuring alignment with plant improvement targets.
- Monitor and track results against KPIs, production standards, benchmark metrics, and direct fixed costs, providing insights that drive action.
- Support detailed financial reviews of productivity‑driven projects, improvement plans, and operational changes across all manufacturing lines.
- Analyze key operational inputs including volume, SKU mix, asset utilization, and labor optimization to quantify financial impact and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accurate product costing by collecting, validating, and interpreting shift‑level data, ensuring the integrity of all cost inputs.
- Provide general support across Finance and Accounting functions as needed; the role may also include oversight of additional team members depending on department needs and workload.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with exposure to plant operations and cost accounting.
- Lean, TPM, or continuous improvement experience is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with SAP and advanced Excel/spreadsheet tools; ability to manipulate data and build clear, actionable reports.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex data into clear insights.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and levels.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
