Position Overview
Seeking a Development Associate to support a national development platform. This role plays a key part in sourcing and executing development and construction management projects from inception through completion.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of development and third-party construction projects
- Coordinate project activities across financing, design, construction, scheduling, and delivery
- Perform due diligence by reviewing zoning, contracts, financials, and lease documents
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and pro formas
- Track progress against milestones and ensure timely project delivery
- Manage project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders such as tenants, brokers, and lenders
- Assist with business development efforts, including RFI/RFQ/RFP responses
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, or similar
- Working knowledge of development, construction, and/or real estate finance principles
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (advanced Excel proficiency required)
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
