A global, technology‑driven trading firm is seeking a Software Engineer to join its strongest‑performing group across the organization. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with and support the firm’s most successful, highest‑revenue‑producing trader.
- This group partners closely with traders to design and deliver systems that directly support trading, risk management, research, and market analysis.
- You will periodically be embedded directly with a trading group, gaining first-hand exposure to business context, decision-making, and ambiguous problem spaces.
- After embedded engagements, you’ll distill what you’ve learned into reusable components and tools to extend to other trading desks to use across the organization.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with proficiency in working in multiple programming languages
- Experience delivering production systems directly for end users in fast-paced settings
- Ability to reason deeply about complex problems, identify risks early, and simplify where possible
- Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Prior exposure to financial markets, bonus if experience has been in options, fixed income, or other electronically traded products
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Salary : $250,000 - $600,000
