Job Title: Private Credit Analytics Lead

Salary: $140k - $190k bonus
Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Analytics team at a leading investment manager, where you will drive the strategic analytics function for private assets. In this role, you'll deliver data-driven insights to optimize performance across the private credit portfolio, collaborating closely with risk, finance, and investment teams. The ideal candidate brings strong quantitative and modeling expertise, experience with private credit or private assets, and a passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Partner with investment, finance, and risk teams to deliver insights that guide capital allocation, portfolio construction, and strategic planning
- Design and maintain dashboards, models, and reporting tools to support senior management decision-making for existing and prospective products
- Drive automation and scalability of analytics processes using advanced tools and technologies
- Monitor market trends and benchmarks to contextualize portfolio performance and identify opportunities or risks
- Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including board and investor presentations
- Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to ensure data integrity and infrastructure alignment
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or CFA is preferred
- 6-8 years of experience in asset management, investment analytics, or financial strategy, with emphasis on private markets
- Deep knowledge of private assets, fund structures, operational processes, and performance measurement
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and financial modeling; familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus
