Overview
We are partnering with a growing, US-based operating business in the construction materials sector seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead its capital strategy. The organization generates ~$70MM in revenue and operates production and processing assets that supply essential inputs for infrastructure, commercial construction, and industrial applications.
This executive will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's long-term financing strategy, ensuring access to capital that supports both ongoing operations and future expansion initiatives.
Own and drive the company's end-to-end capital strategy, including sourcing, structuring, and closing financing transactions
Lead equity and debt fundraising efforts across a broad investor base including private investors, credit providers, and strategic partners
Establish scalable funding channels to support asset-intensive operations, including real assets, equipment, and resource-based holdings
Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks to guide capital allocation and growth decisions
Partner closely with senior leadership to align capital deployment with operational priorities and expansion plans
Oversee financing structures tied to contracts, receivables, and revenue streams to optimize liquidity and cash flow
Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and external advisors while guiding diligence and execution processes
Senior leadership experience in capital markets, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related discipline
Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital through both debt and equity channels
Strong analytical and technical skillset, including financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution
Experience working with asset-backed or capital-intensive business models is highly relevant
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at the executive and investor level
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities
Background supporting businesses in infrastructure, natural resources, real assets, or industrial sectors
Familiarity with structured financing solutions such as asset-based lending, leasing, or acquisition financing
Established relationships within private capital markets, including family offices and credit funds

Direct reporting line to executive leadership
Compensation structure includes a performance-driven bonus component
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
