We are partnering with a private credit secondaries firm in New York City that is looking to add a talented investment professional to its growing team. The firm invests across private credit secondaries, co‑investments, fund‑of‑funds strategies, and direct investments (both credit and equity), and currently manages approximately $2 billion in AUM.
The team is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to focus primarily on evaluating, and executing new investment opportunities. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading transaction workstreams, performing rigorous fundamental analysis, overseeing due diligence processes, and presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership.
This is a high-impact position within a lean, collaborative team, offering meaningful responsibility, frequent exposure to senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to directly influence the firm's capital deployment and portfolio construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Analysis & Underwriting: Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and credit analysis for potential investments.
- Deal Execution: Support transaction structuring, documentation, and coordination with legal and third-party advisors.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor existing investments, track performance metrics, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Investment Committee Support: Prepare and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Operational Support: Assist with reporting, tracking deal flow, and maintaining internal systems and documentation.
Qualifications
- 2-7 years of experience in direct private credit, secondaries, co-investments, fund of funds, or investment banking
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
