As a Proposal Intern, you will assist the Proposal team in preparing high-quality proposals, bids, and quotations for SEL products and engineering services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Proposal team in developing proposals, bids, and quotations for SEL products and engineering services. Gather and organize technical and commercial information for proposal packages. Support in reviewing customer specifications and identifying compliance requirements. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and technologies. Assist with site walks for engineering data collection under supervision. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Understand. Create. Simplify. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Background check results satisfactory to SEL. Negative drug test result(s). Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts or power systems. Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar tools. Experience in programming and script files. Pay Range Data ($17.50 - $32.50 per hour) *Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate).
