What You’ll Do Empower Customers: Lead hands-on training and support for clients in planning, designing, testing, installing, and maintaining electrical power systems—both onsite and at SEL facilities. Engineer with Excellence: Apply your expertise in SEL protection and automation systems to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions. Drive Innovation: Conduct system tests, troubleshoot issues, and identify trends to continuously improve performance and reliability. Be the Bridge: Communicate clearly and consistently with engineering teams, leadership, and customers to ensure smooth commissioning and project success. What You Bring Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience 4 years of hands-on experience in power system design, testing, commissioning, or maintenance Proficiency with tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, AcSELerator Quickset, and test equipment such as OMICRON or Doble Willingness to travel up to 75%—explore new places while doing meaningful work Strong communication and documentation skills A collaborative spirit and eagerness to learn Ability to pass background and drug screenings Bonus Skills Experience writing automated test plans for protective devices Familiarity with industry protocols like IEC-61850, DNP, and Modbus Physical Requirements Comfortable working outdoors in various climates Able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs Capable of working at heights using lifts and ladders Compensation Hourly pay range: $40.00–$50.00, based on location, experience, and skills.
