SEKO Dosing Systems Corp. is seeking a skilled **Mold Maintenance Technician** to support our manufacturing team by ensuring molds are properly maintained, repaired, and ready for production.
This role is primarily focused on mold maintenance, including inspection, cleaning, repair, and preventive maintenance of injection molds and related tooling. The technician will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving mold longevity, and ensuring consistent product quality.
While this is not a process technician role, preference will be given to candidates who have working knowledge or exposure to injection molding processes and machines, as this will support effective troubleshooting and collaboration with production teams.
In addition to maintenance responsibilities, this role will also support daily manufacturing operations as needed, including coordination with production, assisting with mold readiness, and contributing to overall shop floor efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on molds
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble molds to company standards
- Identify wear, damage, or defects and perform necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot mold-related issues to minimize production downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Collaborate with production and engineering to improve mold performance
- Ensure molds are production-ready prior to use
- Follow all safety procedures and report issues as needed
- Perform mold tear-down, cleaning, and reassembly
- Inspect molds for wear, damage, and component failure
- Repair or replace mold components as needed
- Execute preventative maintenance based on schedules and usage
- Maintain spare parts inventory for molds and tooling
- Coordinate with external vendors for major mold repairs when required
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the mold shop and work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- **Support daily manufacturing operations as needed**, including assisting with mold readiness, coordinating with production for job changes, and helping resolve shop floor issues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mold maintenance, tooling repair, or related mechanical field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Technical or trade school certification
- Experience supporting injection molding operations (maintenance-focused)
- Familiarity with CNC machining, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use hoists or overhead cranes to move molds and tooling
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to identify mold defects and perform repairs
- Experience using measuring equipment such as:

- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
