POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES: Working under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will be part of the Administrative which answers a high volume of calls, greets all persons and members entering the office, and assists with any special projects.
Examples of Duties:
Effectively Answer a large volume of calls
Front desk, make copies reproduce materials for distribution and mailing.
Greet all people when entering the office
Receive and announce visitors and guests in a prompt and professional manner. Coordinate follow-through to ensure members and guests are met promptly.
Listen to member requests and needs to determine the most efficient service and department for service.
Answer general questions to the membership
Assist with any special projects
Data entry, file and maintain filing system as required on a daily basis.
Cope Tracking
Intake Forms – must be looked at and made sure all areas are filled out by members. Distribute intake to the proper organizer/ coordinator.
Ability to effectively communicate bilingually to our membership and Staff in English and Spanish.
May be required to perform clerical tasks to support the division teams.
Sign, receive and distribute packages on behalf of USWW.
Will support and assist the Executive Assistants as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Graduation from an accredited college or university in relevant field or equivalent experience in labor & community organizing that would provide for the following knowledge of, skills & abilities.
Experience and knowledge of computer programs is a plus (including Microsoft office and publisher)
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced and diverse team environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Be able to Multi-Task
Must be Bilingual in English/Spanish

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience. (Based on Staff Union Contract)
