Location: Hybrid work Headquartered in Downtown Seattle
Work Schedule: Our typical business hours are 8:30-5:00 PT Monday-Friday.
Travel Requirements: Up to 20% for in-person partner meetings

About The Position
Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, the Manager of Strategic Partnerships plays a key role in strengthening SEIU 775 Benefits Group’s presence and impact across the long-term care ecosystem. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and deepening partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders, including labor organizations, government agencies, healthcare providers, and other allied organizations.
The Manager will serve as both an advocate and a listener—educating stakeholders about our mission and programs, while gathering feedback and perspectives to inform organizational strategies. This role emphasizes coalition building, cross-sector collaboration, and proactive engagement to advance the stability and visibility of the caregiver workforce.

You Will
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships across the long-term care ecosystem;
- Represent the Benefits Group to external stakeholders, increasing awareness of programs and impact;
- Identify partnership opportunities to enhance service delivery, improve outcomes and drive innovation;
- Lead strategic outreach efforts, including speaking engagements, stakeholder meetings, and facilitated convenings;
- Gather and synthesize stakeholder input to inform organizational priorities and improvements;
- Strengthen coalitions and working groups that support long-term care workforce goals;
- Track key developments, trends, and policy shifts in long-term care and allied sectors;
- Support cross-functional initiatives by ensuring external perspectives are integrated into program design and delivery;
- Maintain regular communication with key partners, serving as a trusted liaison;
- Contribute to the Customer Experience strategy by aligning partnership efforts with organizational goals;
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure coordinated engagement and follow-through with stakeholders;
- From time-to-time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position.

- 5 years of experience building and managing partnerships, ideally in long-term care, workforce development, or public sector engagement;
- 3 years of experience in labor, community advocacy, or working with marginalized communities;
- Demonstrated success in coalition-building, stakeholder engagement or external affairs;
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences;
- Experience facilitating meetings, roundtables, or collaborative projects;
- Ability to synthesize input and deliver actionable recommendations;
- Comfort navigating politically sensitive environments and balancing multiple interests;
- Familiarity with the long-term care ecosystem, home care, or healthcare delivery is preferred;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn tools like Salesforce or SharePoint.
- Experience working with labor organizations or healthcare nonprofits;
- A connection to or understanding of homecare work;
- Experience in stakeholder engagement strategies or public relations;
- Familiarity with long-term care funding streams, state programs, or regulatory environments;
- Bachelor's degree in public affairs, nonprofit management, health policy, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- $98,656.33 to $134,458.45
- Fully Paid Medical, Dental and Vision;
