What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wrapper Operator -2nd Shift position at Seiren North America, LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Inspection Supervisor and is responsible for operating finished goods conveyors; ensuring wrappings are correct; entering information and placing material in proper storage containers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for running conveyors that feed wrapping machine.
- Ensure all rolls are wrapped and sealed properly.
- Enter piece and weight, location, etc. into the system.
- Physically place rolls in correct location.
- Change film on wrapper as needed.
- Clean work areas daily.
- Fill in for Inspection Service Operator as needed.
- Perform other duties as required in support of department goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have some ability to work well without close supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
- Prior fabric inspection experience preferred.
- Ability to make low-level decisions.
- Organizational and customer service skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and analysis/problem solving skills preferred.
