Job Summary:
Angels Landing, a foundation under the Seint Beauty umbrella, exists to empower young adults who have aged out of foster care to heal, grow, and create a life they love. Grounded in compassion and accountability, we provide resources, support, and community for young people navigating the journey to independence and self-sufficiency after trauma. We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Program Director to lead and grow our program serving young adults impacted by the foster care system. The ideal candidate brings both heart and structure, someone who understands trauma, demonstrates strong leadership, and is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for young adults.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Angels Landing program, including admissions, class completion, and the distribution of scholarships and grants.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of program structure, content, and participant experience.
- Manage a small staff team (2–4 people), ensuring clarity of roles, supportive supervision, and alignment with mission.
- Supervise and support volunteers involved in program delivery and community engagement.
- Ensure all program policies and procedures are current and consistently implemented.
- Maintain and help grow a safe, empowering, and mission-aligned organizational culture.
- Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to develop and manage a sustainable program budget.
- Attend and lead participant activities, events, and classes as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, potential donors, and referral sources.
- Represent Angels Landing at community events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of how childhood trauma impacts young adults.
- Professional background in mental wellness, social work, foster care, or a related field.
- Experience using online learning platforms and educational tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to hold structure while remaining warm, responsive, and empathetic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a clear understanding of how to set and maintain healthy boundaries.
