Seiler Precision Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control team. This full-time position will be assigned to the second shift, with an initial training period on the first shift for several weeks to ensure a smooth transition and thorough onboarding. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment and performing manual part inspections to verify that products, parts, and materials meet our strict quality standards. While no prior inspection or quality assurance experience is required, previous manufacturing experience is a plus. Seiler will provide comprehensive training, and the ideal candidate will be highly attentive to detail, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in a precision manufacturing environment.

- Use measuring machines (including automated coordinate measuring machines and optical comparators) to check that parts are made correctly (training will be provided).
- Use basic hand tools and simple inspection equipment to check parts (training will be provided).
- Check incoming parts and materials before they are used to build our products.
- Inspect components and new or in-process parts to decide if they should be accepted or rejected.
- Read part drawings (blueprints) to understand sizes and features, and compare them to the actual part (training will be provided).
- Fill out inspection forms and enter results into the computer for each part you check.
- Help with checking and adjusting inspection equipment by following written instructions.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No specific manufacturing or machine shop experience is required, but prior exposure to a manufacturing, machine shop, or tool and die environment is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and willing to learn, with a comfort level working with basic mathematical concepts (such as measurements, decimals, and simple calculations).
- Ability to use measuring tools and follow written instructions accurately after training.
- Basic computer skills are required; familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry is helpful but can be learned on the job.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with coworkers and other departments as needed.
- Willingness to follow documented procedures and quality standards after appropriate training.
- All work must be performed safely, following company safety guidelines to protect yourself and those around you.
- Ability to occasionally lift a range of weights as required for handling parts and materials.
